Become one of the Knights of Templar and relive their Echoes of the Past (I'm so clever aren't I)! This pack has custom music tracks (created by me), custom GUI, custom items, custom item names, a menu overhaul, and plenty of humourous easter eggs hidden throughout! In the spirit of the game, the description below doesn't describe everything this pack has to offer, because there's plenty for you to explore!
1. Immediately upon loading into Minecraft (it's recommended to keep this pack as one of your global resources for the best experience), the change is obvious! The font has been universally changed to a more old fashioned one (MedievalSharp). Many of the buttons have been made more knightly, because in their original form they were not worthy for the Knights of Templar! There is a very clear logo, a custom panorama, and custom, rotating splash text. In addition, I will say that there are many hidden easter eggs in the "armory", so can you find them all?

2. If you TURN YOUR MUSIC VOLUME TO 50-100%, you will be able to immediately hear the first custom song I created for this pack, "Glorious Knights". NOTE: If another Minecraft song is playing before you enable the pack in global resources, exit and reenter Minecraft to hear "Glorious Knights". This song plays mainly for the menu and for a few specific places in the overworld. But are you adventurous enough to find this song in the overworld? Well only you can answer that question... But, for the players who like to settle down in one biome, having had their share of adventure, they may hear the other custom song I created, "Journeyer". This song has a semi-sad violin part with intricate harmonies, but of course it has an adventurous part to it!
3. Now you might notice something peculiar as you click the "Begin your Journey" button... Was that a sword "shing"?? Well my very observant friend (or should I say earservant), that would be right. Now whenever you select something, a satisfying sword sound plays to remind you of the quest ahead of you!
4. As soon as you load into a world, the difference is immediately noticeable. Just on the loading screen itself there are numerous changes, but I won't spoil them for all for you! I will say that I included six or so fun facts about the Knights of Templar and the pack to get you ready for your adventure. I cited my sources in the works_cited.txt in the pack. Here's one of them:

But loading screens aside, you might look down on your screen and find... old hearts, armor, and hotbar icons? That's right, a knight is always a Knight of Templar at heart (isn't that heartwarming)!

5. Sounds are some of the most compelling player experiences, and this pack has plenty! As soon as you take damage, you might notice that the old "oof" sound is back, for nostalgia and realistic purposes... Also, if you just swing your hand in the air, you'll hear a new sword "miss" sound. However, if you hit your target, there's a satisyfing "shing" and a "clank" for those who manage to crit their target! You might also notice something play when you mine or walk on certain blocks, but I'm not too sure about that (wink wink)...
6. The current Minecraft tools don't look too medieval or knightly, so I changed every single one to make more sense in the eyes of an 1100s knight. Most of the changes I made were smaller ones (like the hoe or the shovel), but others were much bigger and represent more of what weapons and tools looked like at the time (such as the axe and sword textures). I also gave them custom names, some with... interesting possible lore, so make sure to check that out!

7. A knight without armor is like... well stupid. So that's why I remodeled the icon and model of iron armor to reflect what knights would've worn at the time! With tiny eye holes and black boots, you can finally show the world your true knight powers. And I heard that there is a second set of secret rettextured armor, but I guess you'll just have to find it!

And to go with your armor, why not get a knightly shield? Sure, the normal one would suffice, but where's the knightly spirit in that! You should steal a banner from a pillager and combine it with your shield to get the Templar Shield!

8. Finally, I kind of went crazy with the texts/en_US.lang, which in not-nerd terms means the renaming of items! There are a bunch of mini jokes and interesting lore behind all of the renames, so you never know when you might run into one! Maybe keep some in that "Abnormally Large Pocket" of yours (wink wink).

Thank you for reading this/downloading this pack, and I hope that you have fun being part of the Knights of Templar! Now is your chance to create your own "Echo of the Past" (I'm so good at this aren't I)!
What you CAN do with my pack:
- Use it in a video (but make sure to credit me with a link to the Curseforge/MCPEDL page). The attribution is required if it's a showcase, but if it's just used in a regular video, I don't want to force you to attribute me, but I would appreciate it!
- Modify it for personal uses (no distribution though).
- Message me on Discord (@echol0w) for bug reports or QOL issues.
- Use my custom songs in public (if you attribute me and NO MONETIZATION in its raw form. It needs to be like the background to other stuff. I do not condone or represent wherever these songs may be used.
- Be reasonable! This is a work of my own and try to be ethical with how you use it!
What you CANNOT do with my pack:
- Distribute it in the original or modified form to anyone or publish it to the general public elsewhere.
- Modify it or use the original code/textures/music in another pack without my permission (discord: @echol0w)
- Do anything NOT mentioned in the "CAN do" section without explicit permission from me
Thanks once again, and happy adventuring! :p
