Revised SHADER: Golden Light, Soft Haze, Quiet Nights
Revised SHADER is a lighting and atmosphere pack for Minecraft Bedrock, built for Vibrant Visuals. It keeps the blocks, textures and feel of classic Minecraft and changes only the light around them. The result is warm, calm and cinematic: cream-gold haze drifting through the trees, a glowing sun over a lavender sky, and warm lanterns glowing against a dark, starry night. Every biome gets its own colour of light, so each place has its own mood.
What You Get
Warm golden-hour haze. At sunrise and sunset the sky blends from soft lavender at the top to cream and gold near the horizon. Sunlight turns warm cream-gold, then peach as it sinks, and a gentle haze catches it so the whole scene glows. Fog colours are tuned per biome across all 89 biomes, with 39 hand-tuned light themes covering caves, oceans and the other dimensions.
A few examples:
- Plains, Savanna and Desert: cream and amber haze
- Birch Forest and Flower Forest: soft peach-beige mist
- Jungle and Bamboo Jungle: cool grey-green mist with green light shafts
- Swamp and Mangrove: thick yellow-green fog
- Dark Forest: golden-olive light through dark canopies
- Taiga: gentle sage-green mist
- Snowy and Mountain Biomes: cool blue-lavender haze
- Oceans: aqua and deep blue
Biome-coloured sun rays. The pack tints the volumetric fog that carries the light shafts, so rays take on the colour of the biome around you.
Deep, starry nights. Night skies are very dark navy-violet with dim, cool moonlight and bright stars. Real darkness lets the warm glow from lanterns, torches, candles and campfires stand out.
Warm, coloured local lights. Light sources cast their own coloured light on nearby blocks. Soul torches glow blue, copper torches glow green, and amethyst glows violet. A lantern-lit path at night is one of the pack’s best moments.
Cool, soft rain. In rain the haze turns a cool blue-grey with only a light biome tint, while greens stay deep and rich.
A violet End. The End has a rich violet sky with a lavender glow near the horizon and tall, soft curtains of light.
A darker Nether. Each Nether biome has its own sky, light colour and ambient glow. Crimson Forest is deep red with a nearly black ceiling, and glowing shroomlight stands out in the dark.
Water with caustics. Shallow water shows animated, net-like caustic patterns on the floor. The caustics texture was created from scratch for this pack.
Cinematic colour. A gentle colour-grading pass adds warmth and contrast with soft-edged shadows, for a calm, film-like look.
Two Versions
- Revised SHADER: the main pack, with rich haze and glow.
- Revised SHADER (Soft): the same mood with lighter haze and gentler rays, for a more natural look.
How to Use It
- Import the .mcpack file by tapping or double-clicking it. Do not unzip it into a folder.
- Go to Settings, then Global Resources, and activate Revised SHADER.
- Turn on Vibrant Visuals in Video Settings.
- For the best glow and rays, explore at sunrise or sunset, among trees, hills and mist.
Tips
- Use only one Vibrant Visuals pack at a time to avoid conflicts.
- If the haze feels too heavy, switch to the Soft version.
- Cloud shape and softness depend on the game’s own Vibrant Visuals settings and your device, not on this pack.
Compatibility
Built for Minecraft Bedrock with Vibrant Visuals enabled. The minimum engine version is 1.21.100. Some features, such as coloured local lights, need a newer game version (1.21.120 or later) to appear. It needs a device that supports Vibrant Visuals, and performance depends on your hardware and render distance.
Originality
All configuration files, colour values, the caustics texture and the pack icon in this pack were made from scratch. It uses no textures, files or assets from other packs.
