SUNDOWN VISUALS turns Minecraft into a world caught permanently at the end of the day. The sky is smoky and dark, the fog is thick, and the few warm lights glow like lanterns in a storm.
The sky is charcoal grey with a faint cool tint. Near the horizon it warms to a muted tan, so the sun always sits in a soft brown-gold haze. The sun and moon carry a very wide, warm halo that bleeds into the fog around them, so a low sun looks huge and hazy instead of sharp.
Colour contrast is the heart of this pack. The sky and distance are muted, while things near you stay vivid: red flower fields, olive grass catching lantern light, orange lanterns with a visible bloom, cream sand and warm wood. The grading keeps midtone saturation high and pushes shadows deep, so these colours stand out against the dark.
Fog is tinted by biome. In default biomes it is a warm grey-brown. In jungles, swamps and caves it starts closer to the player and turns green-teal or olive. This version also clears the fog slightly compared with earlier builds, so the mood stays heavy without hiding the world.
Water is richer. Every biome has its own water colour, a deep teal or blue that is lighter than before so lakes and oceans read clearly instead of looking black. Underwater, visibility is longer, and the underwater fog matches the surface colour. An optional Water+ edition for newer game versions adds finer waves and a clearer, greener water body.
Night is almost black. The sky is a deep blue-black, and the moon gives a cool blue-white light that outlines hills and rooftops. Shadows are deep, and windows and lanterns become the main light sources.
The Nether gets its own looks. Crimson forests, basalt deltas and soul sand valleys sit in a dark red fog. The warped forest has its own group: a magenta-purple fog with a teal ambient light, so teal trees glow against a purple sky. The End has a near-black sky with a deep maroon-crimson glow along the horizon.
88 biomes are sorted into 14 colour groups, each with its own light, sky, fog and water: default, cherry grove, jungle, Nether, warped forest, The End, ocean, snowy, swamp, mushroom island, desert and mesa, caves, deep dark and pale garden.
Shadows are sharper (2048 resolution), and the colour grading uses a filmic tone curve.
Texture-free. The pack contains no textures, so it works with any texture pack. The standard edition uses only settings formats from 1.21.90 and below.
Requirements. Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.100 or newer (Water+ edition: 1.21.120 or newer), with Vibrant Visuals turned on in Video settings and the experimental toggle on. Place the pack at the top of your resource pack list and do not stack it with other shaders. Vibrant Visuals does not exist in 1.20.x, so those versions are not supported.
Limits. The shape of the sun and moon, the small coloured stars and the look of the clouds come from the game itself and your texture pack, and this pack cannot change them.
